How is a Hypnotic Trance used in a clinical setting?

What is State Dependant Memory?
There is within the Limbic-Hypothalamic system of the brain a processing, encoding, and recall of memories. The
fundamental nature of all conscious experience, especially in the context of performance activities, is that it is
'state bound'. That is, almost a "secondary gestalt," a wholeness that contains all of the attributes of the
experience/memory itself. See Rossi E. The Psycho-Biology of Mind Body Healing, Norton 1985.
